Epsilon Beta

Epsilon Beta club is a state club sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL) with an emphasis on literacy and service.  Its official name is Episcpoi Tes Bibliothekes: "Keepers of the Library."  The purpose of Epsilon Beta is to promote literacy in our school and community and support the library learning commons.  WCHS's Epsilon Beta club began in 2018.  The sponsor is Ms. Becker.

Meetings:  Specific Tuesdays before school at 7am.  See Ms. Becker for the calendar of meetings.

What does Epsilon Beta do? 

  • Assist with the library

    • book displays

    • book shelving

    • adopt a shelf

  • create book talks, book trailers and shelf talkers

  • head book drives

  • read aloud to elementary students

  • plan library promotions

  • plan and work school library month and national library week

  •  leadership opportunities at the local and state level

  • possibility of attending state convention

  • and more!!!
